Precision Athletica: Sydney’s first private institute of sport
Sydney’s first private institute of sport has opened at the Olympic Park Athletic Centre and is working with some of NSW’s best young golfers.
GolfLink were out at Precision Athletica a few weeks ago, Sydney’s newest and first private institute of sport, and they shot this piece as part of their Week in Golf program.
The crew at Precision Atheltica work with athletes from all codes including golfers from Golf NSW’s High Performance Squad, Jack Newton Junior Golf, and a number of dedicated self backed amateurs and a series of professionals such as Jordan Zunic and Anthony Summers.
We’re told that the golf program is already going well and seeing the players make huge steps forward providing golf physiotherapy, biomechanics, strength and conditioning, diet and psychology all under one Precision Athletica roof.
We were particularly impressed to see Golf Physiotherapist Matt Green working with them. We’ve spent some time with Matt before as part of his Golf Pilates classes; he does a lot of physiotherapy consultation for Golf Australia and in our opinion, one of the best in the business.
