Trick shots, great shots and one very big golf fail feature in our best golf videos for the year.

Each year we compile the best golf videos of the year (based on popularity through Aussie Golfer) and list them here for you to while away a spare half hour over the more relaxed Christmas break.

As usual, there are a few trick shots, some great shots and one very bad golf fail shot video. We’ve also added 10 more golf video we loved in 2016 but didn’t make the final list.

9. Hamish & Andy, and Justin Timberlake
Hamish & Andy played some unique golf against Justin Timberlake while he was in Australia.

8. The European Tour do the Mannequin Challenge
This Mannequin Challenge swept the world and the European Tour did it as well as anyone. Incredible.

7. Adam Scott eats witchetty grubs
Rafa Cabrero Bello was being shown around the country by Adam Scott and they decided to eats a few live bugs.

6. American heckler drains Ryder Cup putt
This guy was heckling Henrik Stenson and Justin Rose so they got him to see if he could do any better.

5. How to open a champagne bottle with a golf shot
This was by the same team that features in our number one spot this year… this would’ve taken ages.

4. Rory McIlroy annoys Graeme McDowell on the range
Those driving range sessions can getting pretty boring – Rory McIlroy spiced things up.

3. Jason Day’s incredible 2-iron at US PGA
This almost won Jason Day a second major and almost went down in history as one of golf’s greatest shots.

2. ‘Club thrown before swing’ trick shot
This golf trick shot had the golf world completely confused and playing this over and over. And we are still confused.

This one only appeared last week and it has gone viral. Not surprisingly really as this is just a crazy golf shot to watch that could have gone horribly wrong.
