Minjee Lee announces she’s turning pro by beating Matthew Pavlich on the golf course: video
Minjee Lee takes on Matthew Pavlich and announces she is turning pro.
Just hours after Minjee Lee was part of the Australian team that won the Women’s World Amateur Team Championships, this video surfaced that playfully announces that she is turning professional.
The 18-year-old Western Australian is a member of Royal Fremantle Golf Club and she takes on Fremantle Dockers captain Matthew Pavlich here in a few light-hearted challenges.
Lee has won two Australian Amateur Championships and the Oates Victorian Open and was ranked as the world’s top ranked amateur golfer.
Lee will make her first appearance as a professional next week at The Evian Championship in France – the LPGA Tour’s newest major championship.
