Genesis Golf Link Cup has teed off for 2017

The Genesis Golf Link Cup has teed-off in 2017, with over 98,000 players from clubs right across Australia taking part in the 15 week Series.

If you’re a club golfer it’s time to not only get out and play some competition golf, but make sure you’re a chance to win a car by being a part of the Genesis Golf Link Cup.

Simply head over to the Genesis Golf Link Cup website and register (if you haven’t already) and then go out and play your regular competition golf. Golf Link takes care of the rest, aggregating millions of golf scores from around the country each year.

One lucky golfer in Series One this year, just for participating and playing 6 or more qualifying rounds will win a brand new Genesis – the new benchmark for luxury and safety, recently awarded Best Large Car under $70,000 by Australia’s Best Cars.

Genesis continues its support of Australian golf at all levels, from professional tournaments with the Emirates Men’s and ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Opens, through to Australia’s most popular golf competition, the Genesis Golf Link Cup.

“Once again Genesis is proud to be the naming rights partner of the Genesis Golf Link Cup in 2017. Genesis is dedicated to supporting Australian golf at all levels, and we look forward to further showcasing this incredible vehicle with competition participants in 2017. We want more people to experience the car for themselves and understand the amazing performance, luxury and value for money it offers,” said the General Manager of Genesis, Peter Evans.

Golfers will compete at a national, state and club level for over $50,000 in weekly prizes. Players will be able to win Callaway GBB Epic drivers, Mack Daddy Forged wedges, or Odyssey O-Works putters – as well as discount vouchers from GolfBox, Golf Link Travel and the Golf Link Wine Club.

The 2017 Genesis Golf Link Cup Final will again be a much-deserved reward for the 8 leading golfers from each series. The 2017 final will be held at a prestigious Sydney course, following on from last year’s event at the New South Wales Golf Club, with a formal presentation dinner and VIP attendance during the Emirates Australian Open also on the itinerary for those who qualify.

In 2016, two golfers were the lucky winners of a luxury Genesis simply by playing 6 rounds of competition golf during the series, and this series will see one more player become the proud owner of a new luxury vehicle valued at over $67,000 including on road costs.

“We’re extremely proud of the Genesis Golf Link Cup,” says Nick Thornton, Golf Link General Manager. “Each series, almost 1 million rounds of golf are scored and recorded by over 98,000 players.”

“Each of those players has an equal chance at winning a fantastic luxury Genesis – as long as they play 6 rounds of their regular competition golf!”
