2016 British Open: Australian TV Times

Royal Troon will host this week’s Open Championship and you can see it live on FoxSports.

Our favourite golf tournament of the year is here again! Hours and hours of the 2016 Open Championship from Royal Troon will be broadcast on FoxSports this week.

The R&A provide plenty of coverage of this event meaning the live TV coverage starts in the early evenings for Australian golf fans, beginning at 6pm this Thursday on FoxSports 4.

Thursday: 3:30pm – 5:00am
Friday: 3:30pm – 5:00am
Saturday: 7:00pm – 5:00am
Sunday: 6:00pm – 5:00am

  • pity it is not on free to air, dont have cable so wont be watching it much, maybe online, all the majors should be on free to air instead of having to pay for it

    • yep, why not free to air for the average aussie? Instead of the all too familiar bias toward the upper class and warped expectation of society ..materialistic and capitalistic world mentality.. (similar to living under a dictatorship really) Take what your given. Who decided that a person should pay to watch golf? or football, When did they re-become an elitist pastime?
      Sorry, just really annoyed … I’m going to miss it, but dammed if I’m succumbing and paying to watch a bloody TV …xx Gnite.

  • Don’t the TV channels think anyone in Australia watches golf. Even the news only mention snippets even though we have two players in the top ten. One of them the World #1
